Asunder (2019)
Asunder envisages an artificially intelligent environmental manager that generates, proposes and models future alterations to the planet in an attempt to keep it safely within planetary boundaries. The work is realised as a large-scale dashboard, presented across a three screen projection that runs from a custom 144 CPU supercomputer that we designed and produced specifically to be able to run the CESM climate model that predicts the effects of the environmental manager’s propositions.
